What is yoga?
A gentle flow practice of poses/exercises that ANYONE can do, no matter your age or fitness level.
The focus in my class in on movement (strength / flexibility / endurance / balance), stress relief, and relaxation
Every class ends with a healing meditation and self-care activity
What is chair yoga?
Doing yoga seated in/standing with support of a chair - a great alternative for anyone who may not be able to do a regular yoga practice. Still a great practice for EVERYONE as well.
Benefits
Yoga: reduces stress; lowers blood pressure; improves balance; lowers blood sugar; helps you relax; regulates adrenal glands; calms and centers the nervous system; boosts immune system; etc. etc. etc.!!
Chair yoga: all the benefits of regular yoga; don't have to get on/off the floor; non-intimidating; etc. etc. etc.!!
