Sheena Boucher, RMT

Massage Therapy

Sheena grew up in Inverness Co. and is the daughter of Crisi Mac Lellan and Dr. Ben Boucher. Having spent the last 22 years living in AB, MB, NB, she returns Inverness from Halifax. She is delighted to be back in her homeland, re-connecting with friends and familiar faces and also to share her skills with the community as a seasoned Massage Therapist now in her 19th year of practice.

Sheena graduated from ICT Northumberland College in 2004. Since then she has trained in advanced deep tissue techniques, Sports Massage techniques and myofascial trigger point release.

Her practice also includes treating pre & post operative orthopedic patients, whiplash and athletic injuries, chronic headaches, TMJ disorders and overuse/repetitive strain injuries. She enjoys seeing the positive results Massage Therapy can provide to patients experiencing stress, sleep problems, and general anxiety.

Over the last decade she has spent a considerable amount of time working with children and adolescents, addressing postural issues and concerns that arise from frequent use of tech devices.

She believes in educating and empowering her patients, prescribing home care routines and working collaboratively with other practitioners to achieve optimal results.

When not working, she spends her time with Porter the Beagle, catching live music shows, entertaining crowds with steps and tunes, or exploring the great outdoors of the Island.
